What Is SUBRES?
SUBRES is a first-of-its-kind post-high school gap year program in the U.S., focused on Israeli advocacy, leadership development, and entrepreneurship
What Will You Do?
Professional Training
- Receive training with Israel’s leading advocacy organization - Israeli Spirit
- Learn from experts in informal diplomacy, debate, public speaking, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
- Gain skills in fundraising, pitching ideas, building connections, and project development
Community Engagement
- Lead interactive workshops in schools, youth movements, and campuses
- Equip teens with practical skills and knowledge related to Israel, Jewish identity, and argumentation
- Fundraise, lead initiatives, and develop educational and advocacy materials
Public Representation
- Represent Israel at national conferences, panels, and major stages
- Participate in media work and interviews with Israeli and international outlets
- Conduct research on the program’s impact together with an Israeli researcher

- Jewish or Israeli-American high school seniors, Class of 2026
- Currently living in the United States
- Strong public speaking and debate skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience
