The 'Teen Spirit' program serves as an incubator for advocacy initiatives among youth and young adults across Israel. As part of the program, we train teenagers from all over the country to understand the complexities of the State of Israel on the frontlines of Israeli public diplomacy and equip them with advanced tools to represent Israel effectively at home and abroad. Throughout the sessions, participants acquire essential skills such as learning about Israel’s history, public diplomacy in the modern era, public speaking, developing critical thinking, content creation and video editing, using artificial intelligence tools, effective storytelling, debate and persuasion, identifying fake news, and more. Each group develops a unique project, which they present in a national competition with prizes. The winning team is chosen to represent Israel in an international advocacy delegation. In this way, the Civilian Advocacy Headquarters essentially acts as an incubator for innovative advocacy initiatives

The activity is approved within the Ministry of Education’s GEFEN program, under the green track, in four educational categories: Social and Community Education, Shared Society, Jewish Identity, and Wellbeing Promotion — Program No. 54391.
The activity is recognized as part of the ‘Social Involvement and Personal Development’ framework by the Youth and Society Administration at the Ministry of Education. As such, it grants students approximately 60 volunteer hours.
In every cycle, participants challenge themselves to develop innovative, original, and above all — meaningful initiatives. This is the very heart of the program: not just knowing how to advocate, but also creating an engine of influence, spreading a message, and winning the battle for hearts and minds, using the most up-to-date tools.
