The 'Subres' Program
The 'Subres' program was created to equip teens and young adults across the U.S. with the tools to navigate the discourse surrounding Israel and become effective leaders in their communities. Led by youth, the program provides participants with the knowledge and skills to become informed voices, connected to Israel, the United States, and the vital relationship between the two.
The Need
When support for Israel among young Americans is plummeting to a 25-year low, we must act. Gallup’s 2024 data shows that favorability toward Israel among 18–34-year-olds dropped from 64% to just 38% in a single year—nearly nine times the decline seen among older adults. This generational shift poses a serious threat to the future of U.S.–Israel relations, underscoring the crucial need to empower the next generation of Israeli-American leaders.
The Solution
Through interactive workshops and practical tools, the program’s directors—teens themselves—will equip young Americans across the U.S. with the knowledge and confidence to become strong voices for Israel in their communities. They will learn how to present Israel’s story compellingly, respond to difficult questions, and counter misinformation and bias.
